Creating Accessible Content

If you plan to build an accessible lesson, you need to make sure that you remember about:

  • sufficient contrast while designing the template,
  • adding other means than color to convey the information about the correctness of the activity (color-blind users),
  • using correct markup of headings,
  • putting the modules in a logical sequence,
  • adding alternative text for any non-text content,
  • adding subtitles and audio description to videos,
  • defining the language of the lesson,
  • adding the dedicated screen reader (Text to Speech module) on every page and configuring it.
